2014 School Swimming Championship Results ...

Waihopai had a small but enthusiastic team with 3 first time 8 year old racers, and two 9 year olds.
Ribbons were presented to the first 8 place-getters in each event.

Chelsea Smith - 8th in 25m Backstroke and 8th in 25m Freestyle for 8 year old girls
Tasmin Smith - 7th in 25m Backstroke for 8 year old girls
Isaac Smith - 5th in 25m Backstroke and 6th in 25m Freestyle for 8 year old boys.
Neave Rowland - 8th in 50m Backstroke for 9 year old girls.
Rhianna Short - 3rd in 50m Backstroke, 3rd in 50m Freestyle, 1st in 50 m Breaststroke and 3rd in 50m Butterfly for 9 year old girls.

Congratulations, it was a great team and they all put in the effort. Well done Waihopai.   ☺

Venue: Mokomoko (signposted from the turnoff to Omaui on the Bluff Rd at Greenhills)
There are 4 courses: white/yellow, orange, short red and long red. Remember this area is exposed so dress warmly if needed.

Netball Trials - Year 4, 5 & 6

Netball Trials for Year 4, 5 & 6 students that have registered to play Netball for the season will be held on FRIDAY (tomorrow). Please meet on the courts at lunchtime ready to go in your sports uniform and sneakers.

Teams will be announced on Friday afternoon.

Please ensure that you have your child there 30 minutes before there correct age group trial. All children trialling MUST report to the clubrooms before trials and fill in some paper work.
